THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF OUR LIVES
WELCOME to OUR WORLD, where we give all our memories and collectables a place of honor in our home. Others may call it 'stuff', we look at it as lives that are not empty but full of amazing, worthy and awesome experiences. Combined, we have 150 years of 'stories'. Yes, our yester years are present in our almost 'living museum'. As are advanced technologies of this day. We also still have plans and dreams like, maybe going to Mars... On this blog we'll share some of it with you. Have a kind of 'open house'... Much of what we intend here, might become reference work in the tomorrows which will follow. Welcome.
Gray skies awakened our day. No breeze to tickle the leaves in the trees. A misty wetness comforted the earth after the soft rains of the night. We are in bed, wide awake, absorbing the new day. Our health are as good as we dare to ask for our age. Comforts are aplenty. We are blessed and loved. Our God and Father, is good to us.
Whilst starting the rush through all the need-to-be-done, the lawyer's call came through. "So what all exactly did you .."... her voice filled our ears and minds as she continued with clear positive speaking over the speaker. Discussions followed, re-assurances she gave repeatedly.
My relief has no words. Silent tears flowed. I may stay!
I may keep my arms around my husband in love. I may build and create a new home for us. I may laugh and add sunshine to life. I may praise God for His grace and blessings bestowed unto us.
Dumbstruck, speechless, unreal, disbelief, relief and joy are all applicable to this day.
But this day of January 28, 2023 is the first day of the rest of our lives!
